Different light sources reflect different light on the ceiling.Light and shadow make different patterns on the waves

Regarding the material for the waves, maybe try using acrylic. Maybe it would be more translucent and the light effect would be different. The current laser cut boards are rougher and more fragile, more suited as a test model than a finished product. If it is designed at the beginning, then there is no need to leave openings on the sides, so that the overall structure will be more stable if it is welded directly.
