Again, study and sketch carefully to determine what to do.
It turned out that there was not enough material in all parts of the laser, because the arrangement of the original and wave pieces was rearranged from one piece in sequence to one wave corresponding to two discs and a disc slightly larger than the smaller disc sandwiched between each of the two waves. So to assemble it correctly I had to redraw and laser cut the missing discs.
So I decided to grind the existing discs first, as they had to turn smoothly in the wave structure without jamming. So they needed to be sanded before waxing. There is one thing to be said for being super tired, I felt like I was going to grow muscles after a day of sanding.
Because the holes punched in my disc don't have a direct way to find a matching stick, and it being a swivel would probably break by accident if I used a stick with such a small diameter, metal is a better choice.
