Here are some of my exercises on moulding ceramic clay pieces. Learned about this aspect from james so wanted to practice it.
Starting with a simpler plate, it's just a matter of rolling out a sheet of clay of even thickness, then cutting it out in the shape of a cloud, and finally padding the underside with a couple of small round balls and waiting for it to dry and take shape.
Then came the cups, which were actually made with some imperfections, and the final moulded cups were a little crooked. As well as the fact that I forgot to take into account the fact that the firing would shrink including the fact that the pinch itself was a bit small in the beginning led to the cup ending up being used for espresso only, I guess.
