When ghosts become flowers...

This series is intended to show that only looking at the surface without serious exploration can not fully know the whole of a person or thing. And everything has many sides.

These are the first ceramic pieces of my life and I must say I am very excited to see them fully fired today. Today reaped the rewards of a result that I wasn't sure about after the last glaze, and I think it's good. At least the colours inside seem to be coordinated and not overly abrupt or unnaturally articulated.

However, probably because the first time to glaze for the glaze does not know and is not familiar with this skill, so there are still some is not shown. I actually used green and yellow gradient colours, red and dark blue glazes, but I'm not too hungry to see the red and the blue, so I think it's because I applied the glaze too thinly. Including the exterior, since I applied the glaze very thinly, the overall look is not very shiny, just a little bit glossy. There are also some cracked parts, roughly because I didn't do a very good job of repairing the parts that cracked off before the firing of the plain blanks, so the cracks reappeared in subsequent firings, which is a bit of a shame.

But it still had to some extent the ghosts that I had hoped for that were externally mediocre and similar looking, turned inside out but individually gorgeous, looking down at the top like a flower in full bloom.
