Origami hides many possibilities. An understanding and exploration of basic origami principles can better lay ground­work for later anti-war design origami products. With an understanding of the most basic structures, unlimited possibili­ties can be created.

This day was spent learning a lot about the basic structures of origami, through which very many possibilities can be derived. Also thinking about how to apply it to the design of a fan.
We also learnt how to make traditional fans. We learnt how to make the same folds through moulds, and how this also applies to folding fabrics.

Try using some other origami techniques to achieve different fan effects.
Make the fold more complex by cutting. The design of the position of the cuts cre­ates a spiral of light points.
