Summarising the experience of the previous day's production: firstly, the pleats were a bit too big and long, secondly, the overall height was not high enough, and thirdly, the height of the ghost's body part was not in the right proportion to the height of the pleated part, and these three points probably contributed to the finished shape not wanting to be a ghost.
So I made some new attempts, firstly still continuing the way I made it the day before, but tweaking the pleated part in the hope that the period would be more delicate and small. However, after taking out the moulded shape, I found that the height was still not high enough, and it was really difficult to control the shape of the folds in this way of pressing the clay pieces into the mould, so I decided to do it in another way.
I started trying to make my own simple moulds. Because I wanted it to be able to reach the height I wanted, but the ghost's head needed to be curved, I chose to make the desired curvature with clay on a stick used for rolling out pieces of clay, and then wrapped it in clingfilm, thus the former was complete.
At the same time, it became clear that the round pieces of clay were not making the shape I wanted, and changed the shape of the clay pieces to a rectangle with two sides that were wavy, so that wrapping it around the mould and then joining and joining the sides formed the initial shape of the ghost.
But making it in this way may be due to my immature skills, the finished product I made had many cracks and breaks after drying, so I subsequently needed to spend time repairing and polishing it before I could fire it.

The technique of making edges: you can dip your fingers in water and then lift and pinch the edges, slowly forming a tapering surface, which will make the edges not a completely dead even thickness.
