Paper that is too thin really doesn't work well for complex folding structures. Especially ones that need to be opened and closed frequently. Its folds are not clearly fixed in the same position. Because it is too thin, parts of the seat that shouldn't be folded can also deform or fold on their own, thus affecting the presentation of the final result.
